A message from the Partners

"In 2019 our building in Prestbury Road West was audited by the NHS and “red rated”. This means it is no longer fit-for-purpose and the Practice needs to do something to respond.

At the same time we all know the NHS is changing and under greater pressure than ever before. As a Practice we want to provide our patients with the best possible primary care experience and play an active part in helping to address the challenges the NHS faces.

This means providing more services for patients at greater scale, in a modern fit-for-purpose medical centre.

We have been working with the CCG and our advisors for several years to find the best solution. Its clear that we need to combine
both our surgeries to secure the investment we need to deliver on the above.

The difficulty has been finding a site, however we are now in a position where land has been located that is big enough to support

the ambitious plans we have for your care and the CCG has approved our initial business case.

We would now like to understand what you: our patients and the local community think, so please take a minute to read through our website.

With best wishes

The Prestbury Medical Practice"

Please note that both the Bushbury and Prestbury surgeries are open, and we are here for you. It is important that you seek medical advice for any health related issues if you have worrying symptoms that may require treatment and we advise that you continue to contact the surgery to enable us to assess you. The practice has put measures into place to minimise risk from Coronavirus and these will be explained to you when you call the surgery, including what to do if you require a face to face appointment. Routine childhood immunizations are being done at the surgery and if your child is due for these, please make an appointment.
